Centering prayer.
Firle Church Centering Prayer and Sacred Chanting group are now holding their weekly meetings in the church on Sundays at 6.15 pm. At present, we also continue to have a gathering by Zoom on Thursday mornings at 9.30am. Contact Jen White at jenwhite646@gmail.com.
Centering prayer is a method of silent meditation which helps us to quieten our thoughts and feelings as we open our hearts to the invisible but always present Origin of all that exists. Over time, this focus on our inner life and silence leads to a more unitive outer life. Everyone is welcome to join our centering prayer group here in Firle. Guidance is offered.
