CLTs are only as strong as their membership. We need you to join us, to add your experience and energy and to help shape the project.
- Everyone over 16 with a connection to the area can become a member. Every member gets a vote on how decisions are made.
- You will also be eligible to apply for our affordable homes when they become available to rent.
Here are some of the reasons you might want to join:
- You would like to become involved in any aspect of FirleCLT
- You’d like to have a say in who runs Firle CLT
- You’d like to support your community
- You believe that local people should be able to remain in their community
- You want the opportunity to apply for affordable housing

There are lots of ways of getting involved with the CLT beyond becoming a member. We need people to help spread the word about the project, to help us with events and in more specialist areas such as design, fundraising and publicity. Please get in touch if you would like to help. At the core of this project is the idea that the most likely way of building much needed village homes will require local decisions made at the local level. More resourcefulness and resilience will be key, and if we are committed and successful the results for the community of Firle could be profound.
